Are these fabricated parts, sheet and/or shapes? What is the surface finish - polished, matte, roughened? Please be specific about the intended use as well. **Q: Can this be used on range top** A: Yes it can but you must check the heat range on can because a stove top will reach up to 1200° **Q: Is a primer needed and if so, what kind of primer is recommended?** A: No primer is needed. It is designed to adhere very well to engine cases and cylinders, which is it's primary function. It is a high heat paint. Epoxy is one of the best paints against fuels and chemicals after 2 part urethanes used on cars, which are probably the best I know of in my limited understanding. Never needed a primer and does not call for one on the can. Epoxy paints are not supposed to hold up forever against uv radiation, but is easily top coated after a few years. I did use it on my frame, but I keep the bike stored in the garage. S **Q: I have a snowblower that the factory paint has worn off and is rusting. I used this to paint a light bracket on my quad I welded up. I primed it then did a really light first coat. Then about 3 additional coats drying between. It took awhile to completely dry however it looks great and is hard glossy to the touch.
