It has a toggled bottom to make it tighter. I'd like it to go a little tighter but it is what it is. We also tie the toggle strings around the base of the egg chair to make sure it's further tied down and secured especially in windier weather. It's been through wind and lots of rain and still looks great and has protected the egg chair very well. The material it's made from really does repel the rain and doesn't seem porous like some other covers.
