I bought one for myself as well and I have to say the first time I made it, I did not cook it long enough. The second time I made it I put it in the instant pot, cooked it and let it natural pressure release. Popped it in the fridge for that week's meals and it was absolutely delicious. So for me it really just needs extra rehydration time and some seasoning, because it doesn't have a lot of seasoning on its own.
