Product Description Application rate 5 g/m² (= a slightly heaped teaspoon). Ferramol snail grain # is evenly scattered between the cultivated plants at the beginning of infestation or when the first feeding damage becomes visible. The application is best done in the early evening hours, when the snails leave their hatches. Ferramol snail grain necessarily spread broadly throughout the bed threatened by snails. In case of heavy infestation, also treat the adjacent beds into which the snails retreat. Ferramol# in no case in heaps or just ring-shaped around some plants: if the bait is eaten completely or in partial areas the next day, it must be sprinkled. In this way, the newly added snails are also captured. If the soil is dry, the treated area should be watered briefly once. The bait pellets absorb water and are more attractive. In case of strong snail pressure, sprinkle beds directly after planting. If the floor surface is very coarse crumbly, it is recommended to smooth the floor as much as possible. This prevents the bait from disappearing in the ground crevices and thus is no longer reached by the snails. Up to 4 applications are approved by the regulatory authority.
