The food can get stuck and she needs a good pat on the back to get the food into her diaper. Once down there, the diaper so close to her bumb it doesn't just fall out into the diaper like I saw in pictures or youtube videos. So, it has to be taken out or patted out. I used that to show my son how to take care of cleaning a baby's bottom.
