You do have to thread it through but it wasn’t too hard to do. Seems decently sturdy. I do with the front lip went a little further across the screen but I know it can’t. Maybe if it had a hard shell inside and the rubber outside it would be way better. I’m just afraid if he drops it too hard, that the phone might slip out of the case because it’s not super tight in there. The blue and red “controllers” are very vivid.
