Depending on how much MIG welding I'm doing, I might swap the left glove for something heavier. But having this one for my trigger hand is critical (much better control that way). I think I saw somewhere that these gloves were made for TIG welding. I use them when I MIG weld as they offer very good dexterity and are plenty heavy to handle that heat.

I was looking for a thinner glove I could use for grinding and cutting that would protect my forearms as I dont like wearing long sleeve shirts in the summer. These gloves are great. Thin so I have dexterity, have decent hear resistance, and are nice and soft but durable. The only complaint I have is the glove thumb on my right hand is 3/4" longer than the other. I have normal sized male hands/fingers so it seems to be a sewing or template mistake.
