Review: Hell of a Halvah - yum - a little dry and texture is crumbly, but still delicious (if you like Halvah which has a unique taste and texture). The bars are big; I'd prefer one half the size to be one serving. Instead I eat an entire bar which I don't need. Joya Halva was always a special treat when I was a kid, so it's nostalgic, but as sweets go, it's relatively healthy (compared to a candy bar). The only Halvah that I had that was better was bought in a market stall in Qatar. That Halva was very fresh asd moist, sliced easily without crumbling, and had a very smooth texture.

A: In my box there were 36

A: Marble is both chocolate and sesame swirled together.

**Q: Can Halvah be frozen?**
A: Good morning - The consistency of the halvah changes when it is frozen.  I would also caution you against buying halvah online - my experience with the halvah I bought from Amazon was AWFUL.  It was terribly oily and really tasted off.  I will never do it again.

**Q: Product does have expiration date on the box. How does amazon know what's the expiration date and how as a buyer I can find out?**
A: i've purchased boxes of 36 bars numerous times from Amazon. On the box I have now I don't see an expire date. I believe Halvah has a VERY long shelf life. In all the times I've ordered from Amazon I have always received a product I thought was fresh. My box of 36 lasts me a few months and the freshness remains. Hope this helps answer your question.

Awsome taste.... Too good!!

I found two packages out of 36 that were open and threw them away. When I started opening the other packages I found that most were rotten. I'm very familiar with this halvah and it's great, but not if it's rotten, obviously. I wouldn't buy it again from this seller. I did contact Amazon and they issued a refund even though the product was no returnable.
