They are extremely easy to install and look really nice. The light isn't glaring like similar models. They definitely light the area sufficiently, but it's a pleasant glow instead of glaring. The picture makes them look tall, but that's if you use two extensions. We just use one, so the lights are a bit lower to the ground.I was concerned about how we could cut the grass around them, but that isn't a problem at all. Each light has a spiked base that remains in the ground. The extension that is above the ground can easily be removed and replaced. When we cut the grass, it just takes seconds to pull up the extensions/lamps. All ten worked... right out of the box... and they were all bright! No waiting for the sun to charge them... nothing. They just work... so.... these are not such a good product. I am sorry to have to write such a review. But it is the truth. I have attached a pic of the lights... after I took them out tonight, as you can see, only five are lit up. Plus, even the five that were on, only lasted two to three hours last night and the night before. The box claims that they last 8 hours. I have always bought from Walmart but decided this year to be lazy and just buy on Amazon... the ones that I always have from Walmart last all night long. (I'm trying to find out how to upload images). Of the 10 bulbs, 2 do not light up when the switch is turned to "On". They are quite easy to assemble and have additional parts that allow you two different sizes to adjust the lights at. Amazon has been more than gracious in refunding for this product since it is a third-party seller; however, I am hoping that my email to the manufacturer's Customer Service with the images of the parts with issues, will result in replacement of those parts since I now have a mostly-working (I hope) set.
