Review: Great for tight spaces - The Russell Hobbs countertop dishwasher has been a great addition to my small kitchen. It fits easily on the counter, runs fairly quietly, and cleans dishes surprisingly well for its size. Perfect for one or two people. It doesn’t handle large pots or big plates very well, but for everyday dishes it’s a huge time-saver.
Review: Excellent Unit - This is a great device that cleand and dries well. Its small. but suitable for my daughter who live alone. I have marked 4 star for VFM as you can but a larger slimline unit for pretty much the same price. Of course If she had the space we would have done that so happy to pay the price. There are cheaper units available but mostly chinese imports. This was well packaged, and a breeze to install. I had a power socket and a water connection available. Including moving a shelf in a cupboard it was running in 20 mins. needs a 60cm wide cupboard which gives a 5mm clearence either side. I needed to remove the back of the cupboard which may be the case for all. Lots of programs to choose from but like most people we settled on the 1.5 hour one and thats likely where it will stay.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this freestanding as in does not need any plumbing**
A: It is freestanding but needs to be connected to a source of cold water. My son-in-law added a connector, size adaptor and then we were able to use normal hose connectors. 
The sequence for switching ON: 1 move outlet pipe into sink; 2 connect Hozelock fitting to the connector on the tap; 3 Switch the flow control from upright to horizontal; 4 switch the cold water on to medium flow; 5 switch dishwasher on. 
When the programme is complete: 1 Switch diswasher off; 2 Turn the cold water tap to OFF, 3 turn flow control vertical to halt the flow of water; 4 disconnect hose from tap's HozeLock fitting; 5 click dishwasher outlet pipe into the wall cable holder. Hope this helps

**Q: Is the cold water pipe and drainage hose included with the dishwasher or do they have to be purchased separately? It is not made clear .**
A: The cold water pipe and waste pipe are included with the washer.

**Q: How was the product package for transit**
A: Excellent packing was contacted by delivery firm they brought it up to my flat 
Outer box then inners box plus foam packing so there was no problem on packing and no damage at all 
Delivery company contacted me for delivery date and kept in contact

**Q: Does this one have the option to manually fill it with water or does it have to be plumbed in?**
A: it has to be plumbed in but to the cold water tap with a suitable connector

The Russell Hobbs countertop dishwasher has been a great addition to my small kitchen. It fits easily on the counter, runs fairly quietly, and cleans dishes surprisingly well for its size. Perfect for one or two people. It doesn’t handle large pots or big plates very well, but for everyday dishes it’s a huge time-saver.

This is a great device that cleand and dries well. Its small. but suitable for my daughter who live alone. I have marked 4 star for VFM as you can but a larger slimline unit for pretty much the same price. Of course If she had the space we would have done that so happy to pay the price. Item arrived a bit dented at the top but this doesn’t affect functionality. It’s very useful and does the job. Should use the longer cycles if you would like to make sure the stains come off completely.
