Over the past five years plus, I have been using a product that heats your eyelids at a safe temperature. This allowed me to throw away my eyedrops with a simple application each morning for 12-minutes. The company that produced this product was purchased by a large company and this product has disappeared. Needless to say, this is an example of a large company purchasing a small one with the goal of ending this product in favor of selling their outrageously priced eye drops. Enter EyeGiene delivering a simple, compact, and effective product that has successfully replaced what I had been using. Terrific concept. You have an eye mask that you place a self-heating wafer in a pocket for each eye. These wafers start self-heating within a minute and, last about 15-minutes. The temperative is safe and effective to heat up your tear glands that are located in your eyelid. I use it for twelve minutes and then have a trouble-free day from dry eye syndrome.
