I checked the battery when it arrived with a volt meter. It was fully charged. However, I put an AGM battery charger on it just the same. The charger pretty much went right into standby, also indicating that it was fully charged. This is my second PC1200. The first one lasted around 5 years of occasional use. It's not on a daily driver and you should invest in a proper AGM battery charger to keep the battery maintained on vehicles with a weak charging system or on cars that sit a long time between driving. **Q: How long is the warranty?** A: 2-3 Years.
