Exactly as described. First time using one of these and we are converts. Got rid of our electric coffee pot. Boil your water, pour over grounds and let it steep, push down plunger and pour a cup of Joe. I really like the measuring spoon with handy bag clip and the rag polishes the pot great. A breeze to clean and coffee taste great. Tips: We use four scoops of coffee per 32 oz of water and let it steep for 5 minutes and its perfect for us. Coffee stays hot for 1 hour so far. We don't like super strong coffee. I think it recommends 1 scoop per 4 ounces. I would buy a long neck kettle to heat water. We are using a pan right now and it's fine but can be messy. Enjoy!
