To say my natural nails are terrible would be an understatement. I've tried every salon nail manicure product out there and they all ruin my nails. Not to mention how much money I've spent. I just wanted to have pretty nails like all my girlfriends. I was so tired of being embarrassed to show my hands. So glad I decided to give these a try. I don't know if the bad reviews are from people who didn't follow the directions or if they just have a type/shape of nail bed that prevents these from staying on, but I have had no problems with them. I wear them for a week and remove them just to give my nails a rest and to make sure there is no fungus forming, (which can happen with ANY fake nails). After a couple of days of treating my nails to frequent conditioning oil, I simply follow the directions and put the Impress nails back on. These are their "short" nails but I still trim them a little and file them a bit, which I think makes them look even more like your own nails. You can do this without any problems. Honestly, I think they would stay on until I physically remove them. Oh and when I do remove them by gently lifting the edges and sort of shimming them from side to side, they do not damage my nails at all. I have to say that this particular color looks amazing and perfectly natural. I'm not a fan of french manicures but rather a clean, pale (bride's nail) with just a hint of the lighter tip showing through very light polish. These are exactly that. I'd buy this color by the case if I could because it's the only color I wear. The only thing I wish the company would change is to leave out the 'bling' nails from at least some of their boxes. I throw them out immediately. Try these.
