so i got of all things a miata, which any miata owner knows has next to zero 'storage' in the cabin. there's a small cubby where a phone or glasses fits. but every time i accelerate, the phone just went flying. so i asked AI, and it recommended this. sure enough, i fit it into the cubby (didn't even have to cut it down, but could have), and the phone stays put. perfect solution.
