From the manufacturer Here to Slay is a new strategic roleplaying game from the creators of Unstable Unicorns. To win the game, you need to be the first to slay 3 monsters or assemble a full party of 6 classes. Build a party of valiant heroes, use magic and item cards to give you an edge, or roll the dice and try to slay a monster. With different roles to play and over 130 cards, every game is bound to be different. Item cards can boost your heroes' abilities or sabotage your opponents. Magic cards have a one time effect that can benefit you or bring down your competition! To stop a fellow player from using a hero, item, or magic card, you can lay down a challenge card and go toe-to-toe with your opponent. You and another player will roll the dice to determine a winner. If they win, they get to play their card, but if you win, you send their card directly to the discard pile! Here to Slay rose to popularity on Kickstarter, where it was one of the top 50 most backed projects of all time! It was designed by the creators of Unstable Unicorns, which was the winner of the 2019 People's Choice Award for Toy of the Year. Review: Very entertaining and fun game - I bought this game to play as a family with my 13-year-old daughter and my 11-year-old son. Once the rules were understood, it was very easy to play and provides a lot of fun. It is good that it has several ways to win, either by amassing heroes or by killing monsters, which opens the door for strategy. We are looking forward to many games of it. Please note that this is a game with a degree of strategy and thought. If you are into more lighthearted games, I would recommend other types of games.
