I usually am between a medium and large, but I ordered an XL based on the Beach Depot's chart and it fits me good. I am 6', 180, 38" chest and the XL fits me just right. The shirt is snug everywhere, but baggy around the armpits, which makes it wrinkle around my chest area. My guess is so that if you are swimming with your arms extended over your head it will not restrict your movement. After my usage of the shirt, I can say that it doesn't restrict movement. The shirt is also very long and so it tends to bunch around my hips, but because it is so snug it doesn't cause too much problem. Overall I am happy with the shirt.
