I like that the text is to a rhyme so it is fun for a toddler to listen to. There is a fair amount of text on each page so it may require a child to have a longer attention span, the content is deep, per se, for a child; however, I like that this allows us the opportunity to read a page and play through the concepts. I enjoy incorporating this into our morning studies and introducing my child to the truth of the Bible "..from the very first verse."While I do think this is written to an older toddler age group, I would highly recommend for a baby as well. I love how it lays out the story of creation. I am often looking for a true representation of the creation story that does not put dinosaurs before humans. This book is engaging. The pictures are very nice and the story has a great flow to it in a rhyming fashion. I. do think it is a bit of a stretch to call it a "Bible". Although based in biblical truth, it is definitely not a complete Bible. It tells the story of creation, the great flood, the tower of babel, and redemption through Christ. It is a great story book to introduce children to biblical truth staring in Genesis. My boys (4 1/2 and 3) beg for this book often.
