I am impressed. I used it in my hammerdrill today, full 8 hours trimming out lower recepticals in the drills lowest power setting. Flawless performance. Heres where it gets interesting. On the same charge, was able to use it in the circular saw and chop enough wood to build a bookshelf. On the last cut, a 2x8, it bogged down towards the end, but finished the cut. If you are looking for a cheap alternative for the one+ 18 battery back and dont wanna shell out 100$ on a couple of li-ion cells, this is your battery. Its a lil bit more bulky and heavy, the diacharge curve isnt quite as good as the li-ion, but its worth every penny. Tomorrow im finishing a rough another crew started, we shall see if it can stand up to a days worth of hammer drill into block and tapcons. If it does ill raise it to 5 stars.Its only been a few weeks and this battery pack is already exhibiting signs of "memory crystalization" basicly when you put the same load on it in regular intervals, it loses its capacity. Ive not even had this item a month and it is already clapped out. Made 3 cuts into 2x4 and thats it. Worked great for the first few weeks but after regular use it doesnt even last an entire day for me. I suggest the lithium type batteries if you absolutely need your power tools every day. Charges using the Arctic Cove charge and retains a good charge during use. I would estimate that the original battery lasted 2-3 hours,depending on the speed of the fan and pump, and this new one roughly 5-6 hours. This is great for mid-summer sporting events.
