My husband and I were eating at Firehouse Subs recently. I was telling the cashier how I wished they hadn't taken cranberry sauce off their menu since it's so good with turkey. She asked me if I'd tried "the jam", and pointed me to a row of bottles down the counter. Mixed in with various hot sauces was a bottle of Fiesta Juan's Raspberry Jalapeno sauce. I thought, "What the heck...why not give it a try?" I'm so glad I did! The raspberries are the perfect sweetness, and the jalapeno adds just enough heat. My husband loves it too, but doesn't think it's hot at all. I'm a super-taster, so I can't take much heat, this is perfect for me. It's excellent on a turkey sandwich. My husband tried it with some sliced pork tenderloin we had leftover, and said it was great. I may never eat cranberry on turkey again!
