You can wear this poncho in different ways, but for me the asymmetrical with buttons over the shoulder is perfect. This won't get too hot either. It is light enough that you can keep it on when going to dinner or church or an event. It was perfect for a Fall trip when we walked several blocks to dinner on a cool evening.
