Over those years, it was knocked over by squirrels 3 or 4 times; I was always able to glue him back together. Because he is small and kept surviving, we gave him the name Lucky Cito. We finally decided to put Him in a location where the squirrels couldn’t get to him. He was safely (we thought) tucked in a corner on the patio… but he wasn’t safe for long. Our children and their families were visiting one evening and one of them brought over a set of β€œGlow in the dark Bocce Balls”. They were having a great time in the dark, out in the back yard, until an errant Bocce Ball went flying and smacked right into poor Lucky Cito. The kids thought it was funny and one of them said β€œHe’s not so Lucky anymore, he’s not going back together this time”. Well, that was a challenge, and I was determined to fix him. I had used Apoxie Sculpt before, for filling holes in wood projects, patching chipped ceramic tile, and other things, so I thought it might work for this. I bought the orange, and the color was almost a perfect match. He is stronger than ever now and lives in a corner in our screen room. Hope he stays safe there.
