A: It's not shiny. But my 8 year old loves it--continues to play with it even after 2 years...

A: It is a durable plastic toy suitable for kids

**Q: Does it last long**
A: The sword itself lasted long for a plastic sword, but the wrapping for the handle came off pretty quickly. I had to re-wrap it a few times. Son loved it.

**Q: Can it be used for sword fighting?**
A: My five-year-old grandson just uses it when he has the costume on but not really to sword fight

Cheap plastic toy sword. It’s nothing special but the cheapest I could find on Amazon and seems like a good deal for the price. The strap doesn’t really work and just kind of slides around on the sword, but I guess you get what you pay for.
