I tried the rubber tubing for the cheap $3 solution and was blown away with how easy it was to install! (Another reviewer mentioned that a drop of dish soap would help the tubing slip on — thankful for that tip!) My shoulder rest is staying in place and working well. Very thrilled to have been able to revive my shoulder rest for just a few dollars!

A: If the shoulder rest has metal clamps.  Be sure to lubricate with a drop of dish liquid into the tube and it will easily slide over the metal.
