He picked it out himself. He is big into vehicles and engineering so this is right up his alley. It's built well for what it is and the batteries keep it's charge for a decent amount of time. It's easy enough for my son (10yrs) to recharge and hook up the battery when it needs to be replaced. I think it's a great RC vehicle for the price. I ordered this as a Christmas gift. It was delivered on time. When my son opened it, the rechargeable cable for the battery unit was broken, so he could not recharge it. He was upset because he loved this RC. I reached out to the Seller via Amazon and messaged them about the issue. They quickly sent out a brand-new RC Excavator which was received within 4 days. The replacement has no issues. We were directed by the Seller to return the damaged toy within 30 days. We did and received prompt notification that the return was accepted.
