I decided to try a more modern, less traditional style for coin displays. My biggest concern was that the holder would be thin or "plastic-y", but when it arrived, this block coin holder was perfect for what I wanted. It has a nice weight and has more depth to it than can be seen in the photo. That keeps it from looking or feeling cheap. I also like the clean, hex shape and didn't really care for the acrylic blocks with the stands. This is something a little different and looks good displayed flat or standing up. The option to stack them vertically is pretty cool. I have already purchased more, for myself as well as for coins that I plan to gift.Two things to keep in mind. It does not have an adapter insert for 1-1/2 inch coins, and wish they did because I have a few. (Found and purchasing separately some 1-1/2 ring inserts to try) Also, if you have a coin with a raised, "button" image one one side, it may be too thick for the magnets to seat properly. If the coin has buttons on two sides, this holder definitely won't.Aside from those considerations, this makes a beautiful display for coins. I'd recommend these.Update. I received the 1-1/2 inch adapters and they worked perfectly. I feel these really do justice to some momentos that have a special meaning to me. ### ⭐⭐ It's TOO big for a challenge coin. This product is missing the plastic ring insert that goes around the challenge coin to hold it in place properly..Update: After my complaint, the company sent me the insert sleeve ring that goes over the challenge coin to hold it in place. The ring sleeves should come with the octagon automatically and should not have to be requested. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really unique way to display coins *by C***V on Reviewed in the United States on February 15, 2019* This is a great way to display a smaller challenge coin collection. The standing format is especially nice to be able to deadbolt show both sides of a challenge coin. The product fits a 2” coin but is not super snug. The coin does wiggle a bit in the display.
