So that was my main issue. People had no idea. It isn't heavy or cheap looking. Very nice style, easy to maintain. Just brush or warm with hair dryer. Haven't re styled. Wash with baby shampoo and air dry. A little Dry Shampoo on it to take off any extra sheen and it's seriously fabulous. I'm growing out a undercut pixie and there are many awkward months to come, I was able to cut it on my own into a shorter version. I bought this wig for my college grad pics and was very pleased. I am a natural hair girl but wanted something different for my pictures and saw a Facebook friend wearing it so she gave me the Amazon link and I couldn't be happier. The parting is very natural and realistic. My only complaint is that it sheds quite a bit. The highlights add the perfect amount of color and the curls are gorgeous, bouncy and soft. The curls fall into place effortlessly and doesn't require heat. I must say I didn't expect it to be so long ( about 16inches) but you can always trim it since it already has layers.
