However, I spent a few hours removing the uncomfortable straps that came with the masks I have and replacing them with these. A couple of stitches with a needle and thread was all it took and the masks are actually tolerable now. These straps are gentle on the ears, while keeping the mask in place. The silicone stoppers are soft and seem to work really well. This has been a great product for me making my family a bunch of new masks. I’ve replaced the elastic/tie material from our previous masks with these as well. They were also delivered very quickly. The only reason I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5 is because the description stated that 30 metal nose bands were also included and I did not receive them. I think they were maybe advertised incorrectly and the nose bands are sold separately.
