She, admittedly, has a large head. I wanted to comment that she's in the 95%ile and the 3-8 year size fit her well. For reference, her head circumference is 18.5". The hat does not at all, in any way fit on my son's head. He's 2 and a half and his head is in the 100+%ile. The sizing isn't really the fault of the seller who is probably knitting for average size kids. I have to buy larger for bike helmets and such as well.The hat itself is well made and very sweet and I'm excited that she'll get to wear it this winter (it's for Halloween, but it's too cute to wear for only one occasion).
