**Q: Are the slats real solid wood or laminate?**
A: They are solid wood

**Q: Will a trundle bed fit under this?  It gives the height clearance - but not the length.  I need to know the distance of the inside leg to leg pleaes.**
A: The clearance between the legs is 73" on the long side and 48" on the short side, BUT there is another support post/leg dead-center of the bed. So you would only be able to store something that was half the size of the bed underneath.

**Q: Does it squeak?**
A: No it does not squeak.

**Q: Is there a middle slat on twin size?  some q&a mention middle slat but i don't see it in pics. could it only be on the larger sizes and not the twin?**
A: Only familiar with Queen.

This frame wasn’t too complicated to assemble at all. It also feels very sturdy and doesn’t squeak at all. It looks very nice, too. The headboard is adjustable so the bars can be as close together or far apart as you’d like. I ordered a full and didn’t realize they sent me a queen until after it was assembled and I had put my mattress on it
