As you flip the wallet towards you it’s on top. **Q: Can it hold travel docs** A: Not really. A Passport would fit that's for sure. You could fold stuff up and it would hold it. Its dimensions are 7.5"L x 3.7"W x 0.8"H(19 x 9.5x 2 cm). So glad I ordered it! The leather is nice. I wish there was a purse that matched it. When I went online to look for a small cross body purse out of leather, from this same company, they all seemed to be made from pretend leather, not this high quality, cowhide, genuine leather.This wallet fits in my small cross body purse very easily. I had a wallet that I loved; however, it was difficult to fit in my favorite purse, and just as much of a struggle to take it out. I gave the wallet to my mom who has a large purse. So glad that I finally found this wallet, which fits perfectly in my purse.The Zippers are great and work well. Plenty of credit card slots. The clear "window" for ID, is mesh, which is sort of odd, but it helps make it so that the ID does not stick to the plastic driver's license like other wallets that I have owned.It has two nice large side zipper pockets to put receipts and dollar bills. My phone easily fits in the pockets, but I don't use it that way, however, that shows how much space the pockets have. The change area you do need to lay the wallet flat and/or sort of turn it upside down to open. It has not been an issue because the zippers for the large area to keep bills are so simple to pull closed that I leave them zippered except to access cash or put in my receipts.
