I’ve bought no telling how many boxes but I’m starting to think I should have bought some stock in them beforehand 😂 With that being said, I was looking for a more cost efficient way to deal with her “slight” addiction. So me being a frugal mom, I jumped on amazon and started scouting something out that could help me with this mission. I’m gonna tell y’all now, she has no idea that the ones I make using this nifty little gadget aren’t the name brands. She thinks I’m the coolest mom because “I’ve found her sandwiches in all sorts of flavors.” I can now switch it up between different flavors of jelly and fillings. I’ve even used turkey and cheese with this thing with a little mayo to hold it all together. But if you use a meat, I’d recommend trimming it down a little more than the cutter itself. I’ve even gone as far as making mini pizza pockets with this contraption. Fill your bread with a little sauce, cheese, and mini pepperoni, seal that sucker, then slap it in a buttered frying pan to toast! I usually make a weeks worth for her school lunches and stick them in the freezer for the week ahead. But I digress. Anyways, I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this to any mom with a child who enjoys their uncrustables. I tried it with two pieces of thicker sliced bread and jam but it did not attach the two breads together successfully because the layers were too thick for the metal to go through. Using a thin bread type will work just fine.
