Review: Saves time and money, well built and comfortable. - I actually have a set in so many of my other items are also black so I chose red so I could easily identify the spatula I wanted. These all have a specific purpose based on their shape and this one in particular that I never gave much thought to is this long thin one that I consider like a jar scraper, it's like a windshield wiper for your food cans so you can get as much out as you want instead of throwing away good product just because it's a pain to extract it all. Here is an example. Making my own spaghetti (Red) sauce I open several cans of sauce and tomato paste. The older cans I had a trick where I opened both ends of the can and used the lid to push thru to the other side cleaning out the can as good as possible but these newer cans you can't open both sides so I've used other types of spatulas without much success. This one here is like a windshield wiper just clearing the can as much as I would want and I didn't have to spend much time at all. It saved me time and money because I'm using all the product instead of throwing away even 1 ounce because over time if you make as much sauce as I do then sooner or later your throwing away an entire can. What I'm saying is these are great, well constructed very solid handles with holes should you wish to hang them, it's a nice feature when you want to hang something and there is no hole. I've used the largest spatula which is still small by most standards to help fill a pastry bag of whipped cream I made. It was a perfect size to still pick up a good amount and I could easily put it in the bag and not have to angle it so the sides didn't hit. If you are an avid cook then these all should be in your inventory and even if you are not these still have a purpose and they perform them perfectly. I chose these over many others because well they had the color I wanted, and bottom line is they were cheaper. Why spend $5 more for something you will not be able to distinguish one from the other and they don't do any better job, these feel great in the hand are comfortable and even with wet hands you won't lose your grip as they have a texture to them that I can only describe as flat paont. I see no reason these won't last a long time. I assume they are dishwasher safe but I usually like hand washing items like this because they clean up so quickly. If you don't have a set like this don't hesitate because they will come in handy.

**Q: I see in reviews pictures the Small spatulas are just one side not like the pictures have spoon from the other side?**
A: There's a larger spoon type and a medium.  A larger spatula type and a medium.  A brush and a very useful long tool (don't know what to call it, a knife?)  The tiny ones have a tiny spoon on one end and a spatula on the other.  The large and medium spoon type's tip is flexible so it doubles to some extent as a spatula.  The whole combination is very useful whether you're sculpting concrete or icing a cake and lots in between.

**Q: Is there a steel cord to the spatulas?**
A: The spatulas don’t have a steel cord.

**Q: How long is the longest, skinny, colored spatula?  Thanks**
A: The Longest orange one mini spatula is 11.9inch( 30cm) length.

**Q: Is there a steel core to thesespatulas?**
A: No steel core, but the best storing, scraping, folding and getting that last lick of jam or frosting for your homemade cake.  Highly recommended.  I love these spatulas

I have been wanting new kitchen utensils for a long time as I live in the tropics and was concerned about the things growing in the cracks where spatula heads attached to the handle. I love these one-piece utensils. They are easy to clean and work well. I love all the sizes and shapes in the set.
