If the battery is so low that you are getting a battery light or error, the battery needs to be charged. This can be achieved by jumping the car and running it or using the Porsche clamp accessory with this maintainer (95804490075). Once the battery is charged to normal levels, cigarette lighter operations can continue. Another problem we frequently see is a blown fuse. Any Porsche dealer should be able to test your cigarette lighter to see if the fuse has blown.
