Review: Incredibly effective - Worked within the first five minutes. Our dog was an incessant barker, mainly for attention. We had been struggling for months to teach him to be quiet and tried all sorts of rewards and punishments. But as soon as we put this collar on, within five minutes he barked and became visibly distressed by the vibration or sound it created. After that he quickly stopped barking. He seemed a little depressed on the following day since he could not express himself like he was used to, but bounced back to his otherwise hyperactive self the following day, minus the barking. The only downside of this product is that it is quite expensive and has a very short utility since the dog is now trained to not bark unnecessarily. Would be much better to be able to rent it for short periods from a pet supplies store or a vet clinic rather than buy it.
