I had bought the big ones that you put your whole hand in but found that when I baked things like cookies, they were so big they get in the way and ended up squishing my cookies when I tried to take the trays out of the oven. The ltitle ones are just right. I can grab the ends of the trays and never touch even one cookie. They come in handy also for my pots and pans that have side handles or tops handles that get hot.
