We opted for the rechargeable set, and they did come with rechargeable batteries and a charger that allows all three to be charged on one cable (the manufacturer may want to review their FAQ section). They are simple enough for children under 5 to use and provide a lock feature on the channel settings, and everything seems very durable down to the caps that go over the headset/charger inputs. I can't say enough about the quality: it's hard to find products were no small corners are cut that are still at a great price point, but this set provides just that. They are extremely easy to use, the sound quality is great, and the power saving feature allows them to stay on for a long time without a charge. Though they work out of the box, they also offer a lot of configuration settings that will be a learning opportunity for kids: channels, DCS/CTCSS codes, Vox sensitivy, and a variety of tones. We plan on using them for camping and hiking, but we are already getting a lot of use just around the house.

These are awesome! Easy to program, great quality sound and build. These will last a long time! The charger is great! You charge all 3 at once. The battery last a few days. My kids can use them with ease and love the fun colors.

We opted for the rechargeable set, and they did come with rechargeable batteries and a charger that allows all three to be charged on one cable (the manufacturer may want to review their FAQ section). They are simple enough for children under 5 to use and provide a lock feature on the channel settings, and everything seems very durable down to the caps that go over the headset/charger inputs. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fun walkie talkies

These walkers talkies were so much fun for my kids to play with. They had a blast using them around the neighborhood- the range was pretty decent, very clear to understand, a little advanced for my 3 year old and 6 year old so I had to help them get the settings figured out and they were all set to play. Unfortunately after 5 weeks, the pink one stopped working, it would no longer turn on. It was just past the Amazon 30 day return window, but the company has a 90 day warranty. I contacted customer service, and they sent me some steps to troubleshoot but it did not fix the problem. Ultimately, they refunded me 1/3 of my purchase price. Disappointed that one broke in such a short time, but satisfied with their customer service and honoring their warranty. Still a little bummed because I specifically bought a 3 pack to have an extra for a friend, since sharing is still very hard at their ages!
