Review: Simple - Easy - Results - I was tempted to buy one of those sharpening stones that uses a drill. But then I saw a YouTube video reviewing this hand-held sharpener and that changed my mind. I ordered this along with a new mower blade thru desertcart. The new blade was painted (?) even on the cutting edges. I used this to remove the paint and put a sharp edge on the new blade in less than 5 minutes. It was very easy to see the sharpening action as it removed the paint from the blade edges. The wire brush is helpful but not super-durable, as I ordered the sharpener first to try and revive my old blade, but after wire-brushing it discovered cracks that made the blade unsafe to continue using. The bristles on the brush got bent pretty easily. Still handy to have it. Especially for the price and ease of use, I'd recommend this all day vs. those drill-mounted grinding stones.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Smith's 50582 Axe and Machete Sharpener

I bought this when I also purchased an axe that I intended to chop up tree limbs from yard work to dispose of in my smallish trash bin which is picked up weekly and I need to make debris as small as possible for allowing me to put my household garbage bags in also, so chopping up limbs up to an inch to even bigger, to get less than 12 inch pieces would require me to hack them on the ground, thus dulling the axe. I misplace it immediately in the over stuffed garage and it took me a month or two to find it again. I am happy with the purchase. I like it and it works well for me, for the axe and my machetes. Also, the little wire brush is cute and you can change out the carbide blades as needed.
