It functions if you use it carefully. The nozzle falls off it made of thin plastic and pumps a small amount of water at a time.its not something i would want to use daily. Which is what I purchased it for. But we kept it for camping. It does come apart easily to be cleaned and it is easy enough for my kids to use. It is also easy to hook up. We bought this for a camping trip so we could have plenty of clean fresh water to drink. Because the bottle we had didn't have a lip it kept sliding off and made it difficult to get the water out. We managed to make it work with some duct tape but we'll know better next time. All in all, the quality of it seemed a little low, but when I squeezed the adapter to the jug spout to make it air-tight it would pump water very quickly which is nice but still useless.
