I just bought a new one and set it under my desk/chair tonight. I will say that shipping isn't the best. It arrives in a tube and takes 2 people to unroll. The directions say to place heavy heavy objects on the mat for 24 hrs to uncurl it. Placing those objects is hard, even with 2 people, because the mat is so tightly curled. I had to leave my boxes of kitty litter and stacks of books for 4 days before it was flat. So, be prepared for that. Still, overall, it's a great product for the price. I am 160lbs on short berber carpet. After 18 months of use, the mat is full of cracks and chipped out holes as to be useless. **Q: Does it ship flat in the box or roll up?** A: It does ship rolled up. Comes in a narrow box and will need to be flattened.
