Just like others, my lid doesn't fully close, but it doesn't bother me.A tip I would recommend to others is to bend back the little plastic tab between the filter handle and the water dispenser, so the dispenser can be shifted closer to the center of the filter. As it comes, the water dispenses off center, so there isn't even distribution over the grinds.
