This boat is quite fast and maneuvers very easily with the remote. It seems of decent quality and is easy to use. My 13 year old nephew had no problem with it and he had it going in about 5 minutes out of the box (after charging). I honestly couldn't believe how fast this thing goes. It was fun to watch and it performs very nicely. We only used it in the swimming pool, though I'm sure it would be even better out on the pond or lake. The only negative that I found was that the battery charger only charges on a car outlet, not a regular wall outlet. My nephew had to put it in the car to charge it using the lighter outlet. I thought this was odd. I was able to switch out the 270 motors for 390 brushed motors. The esc/rd handled it well. I used the optional dtx 7.2 volt 1600 mah battery. The wildcat has much better take off and top end now.
