It came with a metal bleeder/cap, not the black plastic cap shown in the illustration. If you mount it in a fixed position, you would not notice, that the reading fluctuates about the width of the pointer tip depending on the orientation of the gauge. I found that if held 90 degrees CCW from horizontal, the gauge reading would increase, and if held 90 degrees CW from horizontal, the gauge reading would decrease.
