Also known as polysiloxane, this silicone rubber offers good resistance to a wide variety of chemicals. Softer durometer rubber has better conformability; at 50A durometer this silicone rubber is medium to soft and very conformable. Smooth texture with a thickness tolerance of +/- 0.012”. The thickness is perfect for providing a good seal without being too bulky and you can easily roll it up for smaller projects . I've also used it for padding and as a non-slip surface for some tools.
