The bag IS small and really only serves to hold your gun, safety equipment, and a couple other smaller accessories like a speed loader, box of ammo and/or magazines. The storage is less of a "look at all the stuff I can fit in here!" and more of an option of storage if you're like me and don't like things rubbing up/pressing against your gun. Basically, if you utilized every bit of storage, its going to be a very tight squeeze. Luckily, the storage is otherwise, functional and since they offer other sizes, I'll mention that the quality is really good. I've used mine weekly and there's no rips/tears/fraying, so these definitely aren't a cheap bag like some other products on Amazon. I actually wished they offered a backpack option because its so hard to find a fully loaded backpack that only holds a gun or two.
