This stuff is truly a laundry mvp, if you're the sort of absentminded person who forgets to switch your laundry on a regular basis. I've ruined tons of clothing to musty mildew smell over the years, up until I noticed this at the store and decided to give it a try. It was a last ditch effort to save a favorite pair of jeans I'd ruined, but I didn't have a ton of faith. I've tried a bunch of these types of products over the years, and at most they might briefly mask the mildew smell, until your body heat warms the fabric and then the mildew smell is back in full force. This stuff works, and it's been a necessity in my house ever since. Occasionally I might have to run a musty load twice with it, but it has always worked. I haven't had to throw a single item away since using it. My sister tells me it helps a ton for kid and pet accidents in clothing or bedding, she's hooked now too. I was skeptical about its ability to eliminate/mask extreme trapped-in odors, but FunkAway Booster fulfilled its promise. I used it on some old workout shirts that were dirty: sweat, mildew, and stains. FunkAway helped remove the odors--these were from LONG ago--but its stain-fighting powers were insufficient to erase the yellow stains. Four stars because it got rid of the stink, I cared less about the stains. As others noted, the screwtop cap is oddly fragile and minor leakage was apparent upon delivery.
