I had a small issue with this charging pad not being "strong enough" for my case. I guess I don't meet the specs of being LESS THAN 5mm, so perhaps this wasn't the right product for me. I am a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 user with an Otterbox Defender case. Case off, it charges just fine...FAST CHARGE ability was good. So, my story beings: I had purchased this specific product through a promotion offered as being an Anker subscriber. I received a wall adapter with my purchase. Since this pad didn't work for me, I contacted support and was able to test out the PowerWave Base pad instead (https://www.desertcart.com/Anker-Wireless-Charger-PowerWave-Qi-Certified/dp/B07WV1J8QL/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=powerwave+base+pad+anker&qid=1593346149&sr=8-2) and boom! it worked for me. So if you feel that you need just a little extra "boost" perhaps to get thru a thicker case, go for this other product. They are both ANKER, and both well made. The PowerWave Base is a little larger, but its less than the size of your phone and its shape makes it so you always know how to place your phone to ensure a good charge. ANKER is my go to for all things electronic/charging/phone related. There's no reason to go with anything else.
