I have 50 year old windows in my bedroom and when we occasionally get heavy downpours with gusty winds the rain floods my window sill and the towels I put in place are soaked in minutes...and overflow the sill. Just this week we had a major wind (40mph) and rain storm. These absorbed all the water and there was NO OVERFLOW. I actually wondered if the rain had come in and I picked one of these up and the underside is completely wet!

**Q: Could you put it in a dryer for it to dry faster?**
A: Hello, I did research that same question. No, it is not advised to dry them that way. I have put mine outside, under shelter, for them to dry.  It takes a while, though.

They work!
