But whoa, Nelly! Once swallowed, it can have a powerful iron taste. I followed a reviewers advise to take with a large glass of water or something. I drink with a full glass of water and chug it. Do not stop. Do not pass Go. Just pop in mouth and drink 500 ml of water at least. Maybe if you are lucky, 200 ml - but hey, hydration is important!I have, over a short period, found these far more effective than the larger ferrous female tablets my GP prescribes on the NHS.
