Mostly where the black lines are, the composite leather material around it creates a lot of uneven dents and some parts worse than others. This affects the bounce and grip if you end up shooting and catch a divot.BOUNCE: I just picked up basketball for the first time during the pandemic and only had experience with Spalding's NBA Street ball prior to this one. I pumped it to the max 9 psi regulation and it still takes me way too much effort to get the ball to bounce high enough for ball handling.I haven't returned the item yet as I was wondering if breaking the ball in would make a difference, but two weeks in and I'm still not liking this ball.2nd star because it does have good material, but what good is material when the quality of the ball is below mediocre? ### ⭐⭐⭐ Expected more *by X***3 on Reviewed in the United States on May 9, 2018* While it felt great out of the box and for a few weeks after, it wore fast with indoor use and just a small amount of bouncing outdoors (not full game play).
